Critique Night

Tomorrow is the first critique night of the year, and after a year of procrastination I am finally going!

This is a piece that I started last summer and have not touched for a quite a few months. I'm going to bring it with me to see what everyone thinks. Maybe some insight will inspire me to finish it.



Critique Night, or as it has recently been renamed
Artist's Show and Tell Night
is an informal group of local artists who meet each second Tuesday of the month to view and discuss their art, both works in progress and completed pieces.

Future Studio

One year ago today I was participating in East Bay Open Studios.  Just a few short months later, in the midst of house hunting, I attended Sac Open Studios as a tourist.  I made the scary decision to show in this year's event, despite the fact that I know very few people in my new city... so come visit me and see what's up! Today, with the help of some wonderful friends, my awesome husband and I are building a studio in the backyard.  Keep your fingers crossed it will be done in time, and follow my stories on Instagram for construction updates.
