Well that didn't last long! This one isn't part of the series, but I did finish it within a few days (is that cheating?). Hopefully this will get me going again.

Here is a sketch I did this week in preparation for a small painting of my pet duck.

Tomorrow is the first critique night of the year, and after a year of procrastination I am finally going! This is a piece that I started last summer and have not touched for a quite a few months. I'm going to bring it with me to see what everyone thinks. Maybe some insight will inspire me to finish it. Critique Night, or as it has recently been renamed Artist's Show and Tell Night is an informal group of local artists who meet each second Tuesday of the month to view and discuss their art, both works in progress and completed pieces.
