Thank you to everyone who made it out to open studios over the weekend. I'm sure you're already aware, but this was the first year the East Bay Open Studios was expanded to include the Tri-Valley, and you helped make it a success!  I hope you had a great weekend, and enjoyed all the art. I'm settling into the new studio nicely, so stay tuned for more more art news. Weekend No. 2 starts tomorrow!  I won't be there, but you should get out there and see more art.

2017 is full of changes already! I have a new nephew on the way, we are on the search for a new home, and I've just moved my studio. Hi folks! It's been a while... is it too late to say happy new year!? Anyway, 2017 has been pretty busy, and some changes are on the horizon. ...stay tuned.

I don't know about you, but this year has just flown by for me, and I just realized its already December! That being said, this is a very late post with a last minute invite. Please join me and my fellow studio artists for a Holiday Celebration and Art Sale this Thursday (and yes, I do mean tomorrow). Unfortunately, 2016 has been a rough year with many tragedies. As an artist, and one who shares a collective work space, the recent fire in Oakland really struck a chord with me, so I looked for ways to help out. I will be collecting funds which will be donated to the Oakland Fire Relief  sponsored by the  Oakland Athletics Community Fund to help  support of the victims and their families of the Ghost Ship fire. I will be making this donation on behalf of the arts community of Livermore. If you can't make it to our event tomorrow, but still want to donate, please email me, and I'll share how you can help our efforts. Art ...

Come admire how unexpected materials have been repurposed and reused in wearable art! Local artists have created a wonderful show that is both thought provoking & spectacular. I don't have any wearable art in this show, but my 2d pieces are hanging in the founder's room for the duration of the show. You have a chance to check out some newer pieces that feature reused materials. Join us for the closing reception and fashion show.
